She has saved countless girls from circumcision and child marriage. She helps them by providing education and strengthening young girls' self-esteem. Leng'ete points out the importance of going to school and is an inspiration to many girls and women through her work.

Unfortunately, the corona pandemic is also leaving deep marks in Kenya. As schools were closed due to the coronavirus, the number of teenage pregnancies, child marriages and circumcisions peaked. Leng'ete is breaking many a taboo to bring about the necessary shift in culture, behaviour and beliefs, and is pushing for change from within local communities.
